Superposition
Definition
A state is in a superposition of states when it can be decomposed into a linear combination of eigenstates of an operator \(\hat{A}\). \(|\psi\rangle = \alpha|a_\alpha\rangle + \beta|a_\beta\rangle + \cdots\).
